Wouldn’t everyone be more vulnerable, unsure of themselves after what he has been through? His own fans turning against him, bashing him on the internet, wishing him death, calling him names to his face in airports, labeling him as a betrayer, when all he did was to stand by his values and believes. He saw his dream crumble in front of him, unable to do anything. He changed, of course he did. Putting myself in his shoes, I don’t know how I would have dealt with it. I’d probably given up. Perhaps I’d have broken under the pressure and left SM, just as fans wanted. But he didn’t. He chose the hard way, staying by his own convictions, staying with SM, even coming back as DBSK with only Changmin.

Honestly, what did fans expect after what they put him through? Even now a lot of his fans are doubting his intentions and are going “I hope they leave SM” at every given opportunity… Perhaps he would have managed better with his fans’ support, not their constant display of how they think he did the wrong thing.

Why is it even necessary for Changmin to keep repeating how he wants to show people that the way they chose is not wrong? Why do they feel the need to prove that they did the right thing? I can imagine it’s because the thing that hurt the two of them the most is seeing almost everyone turn against them, seeing how everybody thought they had a say in this, seeing people act like they knew better than the two people who were actually involved.
